Roller Skating Party

Betsey went to her friend Jeff's birthday party this weekend and it was old school......at the Skating Rink baby! It brought back lots of memories of the Leesburg skating rink, I think that they even played some of the same songs we skated to at the party! My poor baby who has her daddy's feet couldn't get the kids skates that all of her friends had because her foot was too big! She had real skates on, poor baby they went fast! I was just glad that I didn't have to put any on. I must admit that I was nervous we might end up with some broken bones but we made it home without a cast. Hooray!

Betsey's Halftime Performance

Betsey's cheerleading class performed during halftime at the Hoover Varsity Basketball game last week. They were precious. The dance was to Miley Cyrus's "Ice Cream Freeze" and these little girls thought they were hot stuff out there with all eye's on them. Ms. Danielle had made us a DVD to practice with and Betsey kept telling me that it was just for us to watch not practice with because according to her, she already knew all of the moves. Well on Friday morning she suddenly started telling me "Maybe I do need to watch the dance." I think that she might have been getting a little bit nervous.....

I wish I had a picture of her doing the dance in front of the laptop where she was watching the DVD because she was so serious about it. She would start it and stop it, start it and stop it all with her little serious face and I could so tell she was taking it all in and processing it in her own little way. She did fabulous and had such a good time! We are so proud of our little dancer!
P.S My pictures are terrible! I don't know what the deal is?????

Visitors

Miss Mary and our AA #2 (Alyssa )came to visit us the other day before they headed out to a girl's weekend that AA was sad that she missed. We were sad that we didn't get to see her too! The girls were so happy to see them and get to show them their rooms. Mary is getting married soon and we are excited for her and Brad. I can't wait for the wedding because I will get to see Amy and all of her friends (the younger group of Ya-Ya's!) Ha! Thanks girls for stopping by, I can't wait to see you soon!

Oh Ellasyn

Darling dear ~

Why is it that you are almost three now? Where has the time gone??? Mommy loves you so much and can't believe what a big girl you are becoming! Oh wait, I found you in Ava's crib with a binket that is for newborns, pretending to be a baby. As your long legs are hanging over the edge of the crib you are telling me "I is wour (your) baby Momma?" You crack me up little girl!
Your Daddy says "Roll Tide" We love you very much and can't wait to watch you and your sister grow up!
Love

Finally a nice day

It was so nice to finally have some nice weather and be able to get outside and play for a while. I have been tired of the rain and the cold! I thought that we had left all of that behind in Missouri. I guess that I should just be thankful that we have not had any snow! However last week we did have a snow day even though the snow never came! I am wondering if the grocery store's just needed a little mid week boost in sales! :) I know it is only January but one can dream that spring is just around the corner....

Princesses

We made the rounds and we got to see ALL of the princesses while at Disney World. Some we saw multiple times and some of them were much more authentic looking than others......

It was neat to get to see Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen before the movie even came out. Betsey was so funny if someone asked her if she had seen Princess Tiana she would say "Princess and the Frog in theaters December 11th"
